Beg II-C : Arm Strong, Arm Flow w/ Ali Zuba
This Series is for Beginners with a little bit of experience (or equivalent)
This series picks up where our Beginner I (Raw Beginner) series left off. You do not need to have completed our Beginner I Series to attend this series, but you should be able to practice basic poses with no risk of injury. Our focus will be on building yoga skills rather than doing a fast paced practice. Our pace will be medium to slow and build skills from the ground up.
Mondays from 4pm to 5pm, April 27 - June 8 (No class Memorial Day)
Sign Up: $91 ($65 Early BirD)
Supporting weight through the arms can feel challenging or unfamiliar. We’ll move at a steady pace, focusing on control, clarity, and rest when needed — perfect for students ready to deepen their practice without rushing.
Gradually become more comfortable placing weight through the upper body.
This series builds comfort and confidence in supporting weight through the arms and shoulders. Using accessible poses like Plank, Down Dog, and Side Plank, we’ll explore how stability, alignment, and breath create strength without strain.
You will learn yogic breath that prevents stagnation
This will deliver a sense of openness and vitality as we move through simple poses and transitions. Expect a practice that feels steady, bright, and enlivening without being overwhelming.
The emphasis will be on slow, thoughtful practice — you will learn how to organize the shoulders and upper body so weight-bearing feels sustainable and empowering. Expect clear instruction, plenty of options, and an emphasis on alignment and pacing rather than intensity.
This class will prepare you for more in this same series.
Enough of which will prepare you to take any yoga class you like in safety and excellence.
