Yoga Teacher Training
(Basic 200 Hour)

This training is not for everyone, but if you have a genuine desire to go deeper with yoga, a commitment to engage, and have enough yoga experience to keep yourself safe, you are in good shape to start your yoga teacher training soon (apply here).

Note: There is about 25 hours of preparation material for the training in addition to ten practices. Be sure you allot enough time for training preparation and apply far enough ahead of time, to complete the preparation.

Note that a few modules have a Thursday Night Component. There are also some elective modules called “Partitioned Modules” that you will see listed in the catalog. These take place in smaller chunks across a period of time, but none of the required modules take on this format. You can count on a module over a weekend, aka typical time off for a 9-5, 5 day work week. Scroll Down or see catalog for schedules & options.

If you have no yoga teacher training experience or no (nationally recognized) yoga alliance affiliated certification, this 200 hour basics certification is the place to start. With completion of this program, you will posses a (yoga alliance affiliated) nationally recognized certification. This program is 200+ hours which you can take over the course of one-month, one-year, one-and-a-half-year, two years, or longer duration. The modular structure of this training means that you can adapt it to your pace, schedule, and budget. There are three different formats to the Yoga Teacher Training.

Modular Format

The Modular Format takes place on Weekends. Typically, it’s a Friday Night, Saturday, then Sunday. One Weekend = One Module. Each Module will have a different focus or build on previous modules. There are options to space the modules out if you want to take your time. You can also move through the modules at a quicker pace. Next Start is the Weekend of October 24th. Scroll Down for options.

Immersion Format

The days are long, but if you respond best to putting your life on hold and receiving a transformational experience over the course of a few weeks, this may be your path. It is an eat, sleep, and focus on yoga over the course of 26 days (2 of them, off days). In order to cover this much material in such a short period of time, there is around 30 hours of homework to complete in preparation for the Immersion. For this reason, we recommend signing up as soon as you know you want to apply. You will receive access to the homework upon acceptance to the program.

One Month to become a certified yoga teacher! The Immersion Format is the “all at once” / bootcamp style format to the training. It takes place over 26 days with two off days to regroup and reset. The format runs every June shortly after school finishes up and ends in early July. The next Immersion is:

June 9th - July 4th, 2027

The Hybrid Format

We also offer a “Hybrid” Format that is completed partially on weekends (Modules) and partially with a (shorter) Immersion. There are two variations of this format. One is to start your training via weekends and then proceed to finish with the Immersion. This format is listed as an option on page 2 of the Modular Catalog above. The other is to start with the Immersion and finish on weekends (modules). You can see this format outlined in the Hybrid Catalog Here.
