After working in business education and earning two business degrees (MBA 2016, BBA 2008), Ali dove deeper into the practice and study of Yoga which had always given her more space to Just Be. Through facing difficulty and challenge (and navigating with practice!), we learn to be open to meeting ourselves just as we are. She comes to practice for the experience of being alive, and for cultivating the dynamic energies of being aware, awake, relaxed, and energized in her classes!

She first studied with her teacher Alex Pfeiffer of 21st Century Yoga on the Mat-completing 300 hours of foundational training in 2018. Soon after, she received her 500-hour registered yoga teacher with Ann Maxwell and Molly McManus of Yoga North Duluth. Her passion for education and exploring led her to Yoga Therapist certification (1000+ hours) with the International SomaYoga Institute. She continues learning from these teachers, and teachings within the Eastern Himalayan Tradition, Western Teachers of Clinical Hanna Somatics. She continues to lead her path forward with an inner light and fierce curiosity.

Ali offers Hatha Vinyasa, Therapeutic SomaYoga (Somatics + Yoga), Yoga Nidra, and enjoys leading and teaching groups, sharing her own embodied knowledge and yoga/meditation practices. She also works students one-on-one-all those willing to find peace inside, and pursue Change for a Greater Good despite life’s physical, mental, and emotional challenges.Yoga practice in its many forms fosters resilience, and a regular practice encourages balance, builds strength, and greater mobility for navigating life’s inevitable twists and turns.
