My yoga journey began in a corporate setting, where I first discovered the grounding and energizing benefits of the practice.

Curious to explore more, I started visiting a variety of studios around the city—many through Groupon class packages—which eventually led me to a The Studio, which felt like home. It was there, in Alex’s classes, that I truly fell in love with yoga. After each session, I felt stronger, taller, and more filled with breath and light.

Yoga became more than movement for me—it became a pathway to connect with source, especially after a strong, focused class. On my mat, I find space for prayer, presence, and deep connection. I also thrive on the challenge yoga offers: the moment of doubt when I wonder if I can do something, followed by the surge of collective energy in the room that inspires me to try—and often succeed.

As a teacher, I hope to share that same sense of empowerment and connection with my students. Whether you’re just starting or deepening your practice, my goal is to help you feel supported, uplifted, and a little more at home in your body and spirit.
